Nilaari are a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic led registered charity with over 20 years experience delivering social care support, talking therapies and training to adults and young people across Bristol. They help to deal with (re)offending behaviour, mental health and problematic substance use. They also use their unique understanding and experience to advocate for equality and social justice in key strategic policy forums.

Bristol Refugee Rights aims to deliver a ‘user-led’ service that addresses the practical, psychological and human rights needs of refugees and asylum seekers. The key values that underpin the work of Bristol Refugee Rights are: Inclusion, Partnership, Commitment to provision of a quality service and Empowerment and accountability.

 

Welcoming people into a safe place; empowering people to achieve an independent and productive life; enabling social inclusion; using information collected in the Welcome Centre to bringing public attention to the human rights aspects of asylum law. To find out more, please visit here

Mindline Trans+ are a national helpline, which can be called from anywhere in the UK. The MindLine Trans+ provides a safe place for transgender, agender, gender fluid and non-binary folk to talk about feelings confidentially. Calls are not recorded nor ask for any personal details. The listeners are there to listen and offer  support, and they will try to understand the multitude of feelings and concerns that may be going on.

Volunteers have the lived experience of Trans+ or are Allies responding to your calls as often as possible and are open 2 evenings a week Mondays and Fridays from 8pm to midnight.

Bristol Disability Equality Forum are an organisation of Deaf and Disabled people, for Deaf and Disabled people where all decisions are made by Disabled people. 

All Deaf and Disabled adults who live, work or study in Bristol and the areas immediately surrounding it, can be a member.
